New Year’s Resolution

At this time of year, we Snoops not only like to reflect on what we’ve read over the past twelve months, we also like to look ahead and consider how we can make the website even better. But to create our list of StorySnoops New Year’s resolutions, we need your feedback. What could be improved about the site? Are there books that we have missed or features you’d like to see more of? How about a new theme for our suggested reading lists? All ideas and suggestions are welcome. Please help us make StorySnoops the best resource it can be by leaving a comment. We look forward to hearing from you!

Cheers!

I’m visiting your site for the first time. Wow! I’m impressed. I’m a mom of three boys – the oldest two are in early elementary school. The information on your site is wonderful!

Since you asked, I have two ideas for you. 1: create a “suggested reading list progression” from books you know you like. For instance, my son liked the Magic Treehouse books as a youngin. He moved onto the Percy Jackson series. (Both series are in that historical-fiction/fantasy/adventure category.) But, now that he’s through that, what’s next? Harry Potter? I would LOVE for someone to suggest to me some books on his current level and also some at the next stage, too.

Also, as a parent who tries to keep up with what my kids read (but who also fails) I would love a few QA so I can ask intelligent questions about what my sons are reading when I’m unable to read the same books myself. (Or as a refresher when its been a year or two since the older sibling brought home the same story.;)

    Thanks for all you do!

    Hi Cindy,

Thank you for your kind words and for your comment. You have excellent suggestions. As a parent of three kids, I could use both of those features myself!

We will be discussing these possible additions to our site at our next Snoops meeting.

    Thank you for using StorySnoops!

    Kind Regards,
    Shannon
