Sassy and sarcastic Evie is back in Endlessly, the final installment in the Paranormalcy trilogy. She has been on a mission to lead as normal a teenaged life as possible, but the paranormals are trying to push her into risking her life to send them back to their rightful world. Always stubborn, Evie wants decisions of this magnitude to be hers alone, and refuses to be pushed. The concept of personal choice is a major theme in this book, and several characters ultimately make choices about where and how their futures will unfold. Evie and her boyfriend Lend have a solid relationship and simply want a "normal" future together, which is complicated by the fact that Lend is immortal and Evie is not. Readers of the Twilight series will recognize the conundrum! There are some surprises in the conclusion, but fans of the trilogy will be pleased with the ending. This series is fun and generally action-packed (though this third title focuses more on relationships than action) and will appeal to mature tweens or young teens who like fantasy and romance, with a dash of tough-girl sass thrown in. Language is quite mild (st-pid, cr-p), with other expletives replaced with the word "bleep."
