Even though Nora and Patch belong to two different races that are on the brink of war, they are more in love than ever. As the Black Hand's heir, Nora has pledged to lead the Nephillum in their fight for freedom from the Fallen Angels. But Nora has another plan in mind--to use her power to quash the Nephillum rebellion so that she and Patch can finally be together in peace. When a trusted ally becomes her greatest enemy, Nora must develop a new plan to keep the peace, otherwise she and her mother will both pay the ultimate price. But at what cost to the Fallen Angels and Patch?

Finale brings a tidy conclusion to the end of the popular Hush, Hush supernatural romance series. This story, which will hold the greatest appeal for fans of the previous three books, offers lots of action as Nora trains to lead the Nephillum race to war. She is pushed both physically and mentally to become a strong, strategic leader. Nora and Patch share some passionate moments that are fairly chaste and language is infrequent and relatively mild (cr-p, h-ll, j-rk off, a-s, pr-ck). While the author does provide a re-cap of the plot from the previous book, this series is best read in order.
