Twins Kevin and Joules are expecting to participate in the usual fun camp stuff while attending Camp Whatsitooya out in the wilderness. Roasting marshmallows and canoe trips would have been just fine by them. However, things takes a wacky turn when they are invaded by aliens--seven-foot-tall, evil, sugar-addicted rabbits from another planet! Lucky for the twins, their obsession with horror movies leaves them well-prepared to deal with these creatures. Let's hope the other campers are as lucky...

Attack of the Fluffy Bunnies is a quirky and fun book that pokes fun at summer camp, bad horror films, and lots more. It is not a graphic novel but there are several snippets of comic drawings throughout the book. It is action-packed and more than a little zany, but also pretty clever. It's an amusing book and the writing is good. Reluctant readers--especially boys--will really enjoy Attack of the Fluffy Bunnies . For fans of the horror genre, there is even a list of "Famous Last Words (Words Uttered by Movie Characters Right Before Something Really Terrible Happens)." It's that kind of book--not terribly serious or thought provoking, but a really fun read that would be enjoyed by most tween boys.
