The Lonely Hearts Club has a positive girl power message, stressing the importance of friendship and that girlfriends should not be ditched for boyfriends. Language is mild (crap, pr-ck, b-tch) and underage drinking at un-chaperoned parties occurs. Girls discuss loss of virginity and decisions about whether or not to have sex.
