The Story
Will Grayson, Will Grayson—Book Review

One is gay, struggling with what that means, and with life in general. The other tries to fly under the radar and not care about anything or anyone too much. What will happen when the lives of the two different Will Graysons collide?
The Scoop
Will Grayson, Will Grayson—Book Review
{spoiler alert}

Told with razor sharp wit, and with extraordinary use of vocabulary, Will Grayson, Will Grayson is an intelligent and engaging read. Chapters alternate between the lives of two very different Will Graysons, whose lives intersect one night in a porn shop. Homosexuality is central to the story line as two main characters are outwardly gay, one flamboyantly so. Coming out to family and friends is received well and for the most part uneventful. Graphic language is used frequently. Underage drinking takes place and pot smoking is referenced. Both heterosexual and homosexual kissing occurs, and masturbation is mentioned. One main character struggles with depression and takes medication for it. The themes of love, understanding, tolerance and acceptance resonate in this story and the characters are immensely likeable.
